The King’s Affection is a Korean drama of twenty episodes. The story follows the daughter of the Crown Prince, who resumes the position of her twin brother Prince Lee Hwi due to his untimely death. Her real identity is a secret, and because of this, Lee Hwi is never able to be close to someone. The story follows the challenges she faces while being in the mask of somebody she is not.

Song Hyun-Wook directs the series. The K-Drama first got released on October 11, 2021, on the KBS2 network channel. The series is based on the comics named “Yeonmo” written by Lee So-Young, which Daewon C. I. published from 2011 to 2014. The K-drama currently holds an IMDb rating of 8. The viewers rated The King’s Affection of 8.4 on My Drama List and a 90 percent approval on the Asian Wiki website.

Episode 16 of the K-Drama will release on November 30, 2021, on the KBS2 network channel. The series takes over the time slot of Police University at 9:30 PM every Monday and Tuesday. The series will have twenty episodes in total. The first episode of the drama was first released on October 11, 2021, and the whole series will run from October 11, 2021, to December 14, 2021.

The prediction of the upcoming episode suggests that Seok-Jo will finally find about Lee Hwi’s secret. It is a possibility that he will kill her to carry out his duties. In the previous episodes of the K-Drama, The King’s Affection, Lee Hwi is finally bestowed the position as the King of Joseon after her father’s death. Ji-Woon gets to know her real identity. Lord Sangheon is playing his own game for power as he frames Prince Jahyeon, his mother and grandfather, accused of the King’s murder.

On the other hand, Commander Yoon and Lee Hwi are rigorously planning to bring Lord Sangheon down by exposing him. Both of them also want to expose him to being a part of murdering the King. Hyun confronts Ji-Woon about his feelings for Lee Hwi, and the Queen finally knows about Lee Hwi.

The Cast of K-Drama The King’s Affection Episode 16

Park Eun-Bin and Ro Woon play the protagonists Lee Hwi and Jung Ji-Woon. They are joined by Nam Yoon-Su, Choi Byung-Chan and Bae Yoon-Kyoung. Jung Chae-Yeon also star. Song Hyun-Wook serves as the director of the K-Drama, The King’s Affection, with Han Hei-Jung as the showrunner and writer.
