The latest South Korean drama, The Veil has been created by Hong Seok-woo and penned by Park Seok-ho and was the winner of the MBC Drama Screenplay Contest in 2018.
The television show was directed by Kim Sung-Yong, while Kim Ji-ha serves as the creative director. Kim Je-bok is the producer of the show, while MBC, Ateod Co. Ltd., and 3Mana Creative are the production companies involved in its making. The executive producers of the show are Yoo Hong-Ku, Song Eun-do, Kelly SH, and Kim Myung.
The story is regarding a NIS agent Ji Hyuk who, after losing his memory and being away for more than a year, returns to his organization to find the culprit working close to him inside the organization.

Recap of Episode 2 of the Veil
The previous episode 2 showcased that the protagonist Ji Hyuk discovers a video clip in which he sees himself warning his own self about the danger in its own organization NIS. The connection between
Jung Min Ho and Jung Gwang Cheol are found by Ha Dong Gyun. The connection is with the gang Ji Hyuk has been chasing before his memory loss. Soon after running through the details of the brown bear project, Ji Hyuk recalls some fractions of his lost memory and becomes firm that the culprit behind all this is the Huayang Group.
After the successful arrest of Jung Gwang Cheol, the police department started receiving threat calls in order to bail out the accused so that their policemen were saved from daily assassinations. The protagonist then meets up to discuss the case with Ha Dong Gyun, Do-Jin Sook, and Kang Pil Ho. For the same, the protagonist questions the accused, but they both end up fighting.
Meanwhile, the phone that was discovered during the drug raid had his photos indicating that some people were after him and were aware of his identity.
While a major twist happens towards the end of the show, the people who were supposed to come and release Gwang Cheol by destroying the police station were actually there to release the driver, who turned out to be the leader of the gang who was arrested with Gwang Cheol. The latter gets killed by the leader. Ji Hyuk now runs after the leader but fails to catch him. In the end, Ji Hyuk comes to know about a spy named Lee Choon Gil who had a connection with the gang.
Expected Story of Episode 3 of the Veil
The upcoming episode of The Veil will show Je Yi working on fieldwork but gets warned by Soo Yeon to keep a good distance from Ji Hyuk. The latter will be seen facing criticism due to health-related issues, while Do-Jin Sook will be keener in knowing about the memory of Ji Hyuk and what else it hides. Also, the episode will show that Ji Hyuk is held hostage using a gun at his head, but the person doing so isn’t identified. Can it be from the gang Ji Hyuk was investigating? Well, to find the answers the episode 3 will be interesting to watch.
Release of Episode 3 of the Veil
The third episode of The Veil will go on air on the MBC channel at 10.00 pm KST on September 24, 2021. The show was originally showcased with its first episode this year on September 17 and contained a total of twelve episodes.
