Locke and Key is an American horror and supernatural drama series that was first released on February 7, 2020. The series is based on the comic book series called Locke and Key and was created by Meredith Averill, Carlton Cuse, and Aron Eli Coleite. The series was released on Netflix and had gathered a good fan base due to its thrilling and intriguing storyline. Netflix officially announced a second season in March 2020, which is all set to release on October 22, 2021.
A third season is also on the cards, soon announced by Netflix. Locke and Key revolve around the life of a widow Nina, whose husband, a student, murdered Locke, and she moves with her three children to Matheson, where she decides to move into Keyhouse, with mysterious keys that open magical doors and their exposure to the evil who too wants the keys. It will be interesting to know what the creators of the series have in store for the audience who are waiting eagerly for the launch of Locke and Key 2.
