The plot revolved around the duo Lei and Xu falling in love due to the cosmic phenomenon initiated by the super moon breaking all barriers of time and space. In the opening scene, we see Lei Chuxia being chased by someone and she reaches the end of a cliff where she slips and falls. The person chasing her bids a farewell to her and all the memories related to her.

In the next scene, there is a ten years’ time jump and the end of Lei’s fall as she directly falls from the sky into Xu Xiaodong’s arms, both parties being equally confused and the people around them also experience a similar emotion. The day Lei falls into Xu’s arm is the exact full moon night, but ten years later, when Xu Xiaodong was about to launch a new video game and the servers go down and the screens go blank.

Xiaodong is clueless so as to how the girl magically fell into his arms and even after several attempts made by Chuxia to escape Xiaodong she is teleported back to him, establishing a cosmic connection between the two. Xiaodong is left with no choice but to be associated with her, he takes her to various escapades like shopping, visiting a beach, etc.

The two eventually fall in love and decide to get married, but on the day of her wedding, Lei disappears as soon as the full moon appears. The duo was prepared for this outcome and promised to be reunited in Autumn, leaving the audience excited for its plausible second season.

Conclusion

The sweet love story of these two young lovers meeting and getting separated again, only to be reunited again leaves a bitter-sweet trail in the mind of the audience who were rather expecting a happy ending. The room for the plot to be further developed also leaves room for further excitement and hope to see their love story brewing again.
