Modern Love Season 2

A beautiful amalgamation of real-life stories inspired by actual individuals who inspire you to follow your love. The stories followed real stories of different people who showed different sides of relationships, revelations, betrayals. Though the ending gives you a happy treat, it lacks the harsh realities that accompany love stories.

Season 2 Release Date

With eight stories lined up, having a runtime of 30 to 35 minutes, John Carney, the creator, has done justice to most stories. The season already got released on August 13, 2021, on Amazon Prime Video.

Eight Stories on the Line

The best out of these eight comes out to be:-

Modern Love Season 3

On a Serpentine Road, With the Top Down

The story starts with a grieving love where Doctor Curran struggles to sell her husband’s vintage sports. The situation seems harsh to her because her first husband has died long back. However, the second protagonist offers her supportive love throughout, depicting such a heart-touching story. Delivering a love story with an inanimate object like a car looks amazing.

How do You Remember Me

This is the story of two past lovers who meet unexpectedly at the crossroads of life. The same story shown through the eyes of the two protagonists leaves audiences looking at different perspectives.

Strangers on a Dublin Train

A conventional love story where Paula and an advertising guy meet each other on a train and fall in love. The story goes through the ups and downs of the pandemic, with the characters delivering their love towards each other in a charming way and justifying it.

The Night Girl Finds the Day Boy

A swift and slow-moving story that depicts an editor who has a sleeping disorder and a regular school teacher who leads a simple life. The two meet each other and go on some new, bold night dates, making them fall deeply. Through some charming night dates, it delivers a fairy-tale-like story to us.

A Life Plan for Two Followed by One

The story depicts two teenagers. It follows the story of two best friends who fall in love with each other. It is justified because of great casting and their performances. Deep love, few fights, minor misunderstandings pave the way for this love story to look amazing.

In the Waiting Room of Estranged Spouses

Story of two heartbroken spouses whose partners have had an affair, meet each other in the waiting room of her therapist. The journey outlines the story of divorce, anger, new love, and PTSD. Again a story that seems unreal or maybe just not appropriately justified.

Am I? Maybe this Quiz will Tell Me

A story is depicting the real teenage crisis where teenagers fight to understand their sexuality and self-identity. This is not just a love story but depicts the life of all the teenagers, which highlights their struggles. Though some part of it seems forced, thus the story goes downfall.

A Second Embrace with Hearts and Eyes Open

The story of two lovers who have already separated move back towards each other, but terminal disease makes the story go around looking like a roller-coaster, not justified. Even the backdrop of the story of their separation is not lined properly; thus, it doesn’t seem to be a nice one.

Lokesh Bhardwaj

The only word in the dictionary which can describe Lokesh well is "Curious". He is a man who sits in the corner of a café, sipping his coffee and watch others and write about them having a good time. Addicted to bettering himself each day. An impressive introvert who finds his home in the places he travels. It's either the power of universe or sunsets that sets his soul free. In between, He can be found wrapped in his own bubble, knitting stories even before the sun rises!
