The second last episode of the season saw The Professor completely dejected by the fact that his plot has been used against him. But he still doesn’t lose hope and promises the heist team to get the gold back.
He admits to Lisbon and Palermo that he was the one who discussed the plan with Tatiana owing her to be his brother’s then wife. In a flashback scene that proceeds, we see The Professor being fed up by being the group’s brain and drinking alcohol and dances in utter frustration joined by heist gang.
Meanwhile, one of the Sagasta’s men successfully put the explosive in place while Tamayo, despite many failed attempts, is still determined to turn things down. The Professor then comes up with a theory that Rafael and Tatiana would bury the stolen gold and build a house over it.
But now comes the time that could make all of us shocked and sad. As the bank building gets to empty with the release of hostages safely, the members of the heist gang also come to get arrested one by one. Delighted, Tamayo informs The Professor about their defeat, and the latter gets ready to surrender himself.
What Happens At The End Of The Episode?
But are things really over? Well, not so easy. The Professor tells Sierra that she is the one who now has to find gold as he cannot afford to lose. Although skeptical, she agrees finally, and before leaving her, he hands her the note and whispers in her ears.
On the other side, Tamayo and Governor are shocked to learn that the gold isn’t in the vault. Outside the bank, the Professor gets cheered by his supporters as he is about to step into the opponent’s territory, the first time being the heist himself. Well, now we will surely not miss the one and only final episode for the show!
