Moriarty the Patriot is a Japanese-based cartoon series. It can be called a prequel or remake of Sherlock Holmes’s stories. Like the Sherlock stories, it can also be considered as a crime thriller story. The Plot
William James Moriarty, the main lead, lives a normal life by being a problem solver or consultant for the common people. But he has his inner desire to destroy the present situation that dominates British society. All three brothers have the same goal: to remove the class system from Britain and bring equality and fairness. The two brothers were first introduced as orphans who left to live in the class-biased British society. Albert James was impressed by the unique intellect of William, and the first season focuses on the mystery.

The middle Moriarty brother was also known as a crime consultant. He is super intelligent and uses it as a weapon to end the class system in Britain.
Albert James Moriarty
He is the oldest Moriarty brother. He is the only Moriarty brother as the other two, William and Louis, were adopted.
Louis James Moriarty
He is the youngest of all the Moriarty brothers. As a child, he suffered an unknown illness and could have died if Albert’s father would not have made him undergo surgery.
Reviews
This anime is a cat and mouse situation between people fighting against the class system and the dominants. It is brutal and violent, but later on, it calms down a little. One major reason to watch this anime can be its great cinematography, amazing soundtracks, and the presentation of the characters. This does not focus on being politically correct to please the audience, but at the same time, it is not so much of violence. It has so much violence, but they know very well where to stop.

It has a great message too for the society and somewhere based on the early 90’s Britain, which was under the dominance and affected by the class system. It is not fully escaped there but is present only in neglectable numbers.
