CBS broadcasted NCIS: Hawaii on September 20, 2021. It is an action-filled police series. As the fourth series in the NCIS franchise, it is a spinoff of the long-running NCIS series. Aside from directing the pilot, Larry Teng also serves as writer and executive producer along with Christopher Silber, Jan Nash.

As part of the team’s investigation, NCIS: Hawaii Season 1 Episode 6 sees the team uncovering a fictitious social media star. It leads them to dig up some information about a person whose history has been largely hidden all along. Basically, before we went to the same, the team worked on a foreign case recently on the show.

On the island of Hawaii, a Japanese soldier was killed. Moreover, this death is pretty similar to one that occurred recently in Japan. Leaving the prime suspect behind is the only thing that didn’t add up.

When the team learned the Prime Suspect was in Honolulu, she became a more significant suspect. Not far from another murder of a similar nature. Her team was unable to reach her until she came walking toward them. Furthermore, she was fairly certain she was not the murderer. As a result, the team is left with no choice but to let her go. As NCIS searched for the murderer, a Japanese officer was brought in to help with the investigation.

What Happened Previously On NCIS: Hawaii Season 1 Episode 5

In previous episodes of NCIS: Hawaii, we introduced Shogo Oda, a Japanese soldier who was found dead. Iron Cloud was the cause of the death. The case was joined by Captain Milius, who revealed that another similar death had occurred in Japan.

Shogo’s death was similar to that of Yuki Sawa. Yuki lived with Abby Nelson back in Japan, so she was the only possible suspect here. There was another death in the same vein in Honolulu where Abby Nelson was.

Abby Nelson walked into the headquarters on her own, despite NCIS’ plans to bring her in.  As she had not killed any of them, she confessed that she had nothing to fear. They still don’t have leverage because Jesse believes she is lying. Kai and Lucy encountered Inspector Kento Mori when they explored Nelson’s home.

As it turned out, he was also hunting down Yuki’s murderer – to hunt down the person responsible. The request for his inclusion in the case was denied despite him providing the entire murder file.

Team members still have no idea why Japan released a suspect. Shogo’s actions during the night provided them with clues about this. He shared that he had been with Abby last night while eating noodles at a Japanese restaurant. It was not a year ago that Abby met Shogo. This was a lie.

Abby didn’t seem to fit in with Jane’s theory, so Jane ruled Abby out. By taking a look at her journals and Instagrams, Abby appeared to simply be trying to be normal. However, how? She simply followed Yuki’s lead and posted similar photos. She had no motive to kill because she was not jealous.

Abby’s disappearance is believed to be the result of him. So she went undercover for them at a party to help them. Tanaka confessed under the cover. The show was closed with karaoke by Ernie.
