NCIS aired its last but one episode of season 19, “All or nothing,” on Friday, 16 May 2022, which mostly focused on the team investigating the death of Navy Reservist John Murphy, who also happens to be an investigative journalist.
What Happened In Episode 20, ‘All Or Nothing?
The episode majorly focuses on the death of a Navy Reservist who also happens to be an investigative journalist. John Murphy, the journalist, is found dead in his van’s front seat, which occurred during a carwash. The back of the van is filled with stolen slot machines.
NCIS was called in for the investigation and discovered that the victim was neither stabbed nor shot. The NCIS investigated that the victim’s blood all over his body was due to his vomiting; this led us to conclude that he was murdered by poisoning.
The Question Arises, Was Murphy The One Who Killed Himself?
The team went out to find the answer to the question, which happened to be in the back of the van filled with slot machines. Murphy had stolen the slot machines for the Navy as they had been allowed for recreational purposes.
However, Kasie looked into the machines and determined them to be altered. Transferred a portion of each distant dollar bank, Murphy could have become a millionaire had it not been for the incident.
So, he mustn’t be the reason behind the death.
So Who Killed Murphy?
Also, one thing to be reminded of is that Murphy wasn’t smart enough to hack the machines all by himself, another person was involved in this.
It was only when Knight and Palmer decided to drive the organs to a new hospital. Only when some people chased after them did they meet Ana Brooks; who had a liver problem and required a liver transplant.
From a liver transplant, the man she was testifying against had stopped her through every effort possible. She was the one who had tampered with the machines but not because of Murphy, who was reporting the incident to get his job back. Also did her part in the job because she required the amount for her transplant. She was testifying against a company names Vega gaming.
This provided a set-up for the final episode of NCIS season 19, ‘Birds of a Feather, which is claimed to be premiered on 23 May 2022 at 8 pm Central Time.
The chemistry between Knight and Palmer
The chemistry between Knight and Palmer is intriguing, even increasing as Palmer goes on to confess his feelings to Knight; and Knight refuses to continue their relationship anything but as friends, as the fear of losing Palmer will remain on her mind.
After saving themselves and Ana Brooks, Knight and Palmer, however, went on a coffee date.
