Also known as Den Osannolika Mördaren (in Swedish), The Unlikely Murderer is the latest crime dramas that is based on the real-life incident of the assassination of PM Olof Palme. The show has been created by gathering information from the book of Thomas Pettersson in the same name.

The story has been the brainchild of Niklas Rockströmand Wilhelm Behrman while production has been taken care of by Swedish producer FLX for streaming giant Netflix. Keep on reading to find out what fans have to say about this mysterious crime drama, and is it really worth your time?

What are Fans Talking About After Watching The Unlikely Murderer?

The story focuses on the murder of 1968 Swedish PM Olof Palme by Stig Engstrom, a professional graphic designer, and how the latter managed to escape the arrest until his demise. The fans have found the story to be entertaining enough with strong character portrayal, especially by Robert Gustafsson, who essays the role of Engstrom, who was the main suspect of the murder. It involves less of historical elements and is more of a mysterious drama that the audience can thoroughly enjoy.

The ensemble cast playing in this shocking murder tale comprises- Peter Viitanen (Real Humans), essaying the character of Swedish prime minister Olof Palme, Robert Gustafsson (essaying the character of Stig Engstrom), Joel Spira (Conspiracy of Silence), Eva Melander (The Bridge), and Peter Andersson (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo).

Mikael Persbrandt (Sex Education) essaying the role of Hans Holmer, Shanti Roney, Lia Boysen, Emil Almén, Henrik Norlén, and Torkel Petterson. The stellar cast with popular Swedish actors has made the drama even more authentic and filled with required dramatic elements.
