Ending Explained

Night Sky has a mysterious plot where Franklin and Irene, an old married couple, find out their backyard has a planet they thought would be unfit for human lives.

The series consists of a total of eight episodes which have already aired on Amazon Prime Video. In Episode 8, “Compensation,” Cornelius wins Toni’s trust by disclosing that her father lives in Caerul, whereas in the first episode, it is not revealed what Caerul was. The mysterious man cane from the portal, and Jude becomes a caretaker for the Yorks.

The old couple’s granddaughter, Denise, decides to leave with Jude and explore her life more interestingly. Stella and her daughter Toni were searching for a man, and that happens to be Jude, what they call an Apostate. Cornelius wants Jude dead and approaches Stella and asks her to kill him once she finds him.

The old couple found the bunker in their garden, leading to another planet they believed was unapproachable to human lives. Goes down the lane when Franklin steps into the alien land in search of his neighbor Byron, who went missing while investigating the alien land and was concluded dead. Later, Irene stepped into the planet she used to watch from far away to search for her husband. That’s when they found that secret place that happens to be fit for human lives, and the air is breathable without any oxygen mask.

Irene and Franklin have different approaches to the secret behind their backyard. She thinks this can be the portal to open the secrets about her son’s death.

In the end, Stella and Toni were driving a car along with a tied-up Cornelius. Season 1 ended with them getting chased by another car and a woman’s appearance.

There is a lot yet to uncover in this series, which makes the viewers unsatisfied and upset. The enormous plot twists and mystery revelations should happen; so the hope of getting another season of Night Sky is atopic for discussion.
