Platinum End Episode 5: November 5 Release and Plot Speculations Based on Previous Episodes

The anime series Platinum End will be releasing its fifth episode on November 5. It is a dark fantasy thriller, which follows the story of MiraiKakehashi. Mirai makes suicidal attempts, but his guardian angel rescues him. Not only this but Mirai is also bestowed with unique powers, as he is one among the 13 candidates which the angels have chosen to take God’s role.

The manga series was originally written and illustrated by TsugumiOhba, which was originally released in November 2015. The studio, Signal MD, took up the TV adaptation. It made its debut TV premiere on October 8, 2021, and as episode 5 will release soon, here are some details of the forthcoming episode.

When Will Episode 5 Of Platinum End be Released?

The fifth episode of Platinum End will be released on November 5, 2021. It is a two-cour series and will comprise 24 episodes in its entirety. The series is currently premiering its first cour. However, there will be no gap between the double cour and will continue in one stretch from fall to winter.

New episodes will be dropping on Fridays each week. Viewers who have subscriptions to Funimation or Crunchyroll can watch episode 5 on November 5.

Where To Watch Episode 5 Of Platinum End?

The new episodes of the anime series Platinum End release weekly on Fridays on platforms such as Crunchyroll and Funimation. Funimation has licensed the show for viewers to stream outside Asia. You can also access it on VRV. The streaming platform, Wakanim, will allow fans to stream Platinum End in Scandinavian countries.

On Funimation and Crunchyroll, the series has Japanese audio, with English subtitles. The new episode will drop at 1:28 pm JST, 12:28 pm EST, 9:28 am PT, 5:28 pm BST, and 11:28 am CT.

What Will Happen In Episode 5 Of Platinum End?

In the fourth episode, Metropolitan made his arrival timely at Jinbo Stadium. Yellow and Metro Blue are the ones who make their appearance soon after. To control Metropolitan, they carry out the shooting of the Red Arrow. However, it doesn’t affect him, which reveals that he is under somebody’s influence already. Metropolitan tells that duo of God candidates is not strong enough. He asks them to make their exit.

Suddenly, a God candidate makes an appearance and asks the duo to let her accompany them; she is scared of being killed. But, Metropolitan strikes Red Arrow across her heart. The duo needs to make a hasty decision and ask the various God candidates to join them. Green and Metro Pink, when surrendering themselves, are shot by the duo’s Red arrow. While all of these events occur, the real Metropolitan has switched himself with the fake one.

Metro Blue and Metro Yellow are meanwhile shot down with arrows. Mirai and Saki watch the horror of the situation. In the upcoming episode, prior to Mirai attempting to kill the girl, he will also try to save her. But his adversary will put him in a complex situation.

What Happens In The Previous Episode?

In episode 4 of Platinum End, Mirai is in Saki’s love spell. The other candidates who are to become God have something to give them a chance. But, Mirai still doesn’t know what he will be doing. To combat the various ruthless killers, Mirai needs to form a strong alliance with numerous candidates who share the same vision.

Episode 5 of the anime series, Platinum End, will drop on Funimation and Crunchyroll on November 5, 2021.
