What Happened Previously on Episode 8 of Queens?
The previous episode of the show, known as God’s Plan, showed us, Brianna and Eric getting heavily wounded while being shot and being taken to the hospital. The rest of the group members, along with fans, were seen praying for their recovery. Meanwhile, Naomi recalled the time when she first met with Brianna in 1993 and how the two bonded over music and decided to form a rap group, which wasn’t like by Renee, Brianna’s mother.
The latter introduces Jill to the two girls, eventually making her part of the group. The three girls then named their trio as Nasty Bitches and went on to perform various shows. Amidst one such event of theirs, they meet Eric, who, after showing interest in working with them, becomes a part of the group. In the present time, Eric makes out safe and ensures the worried Naomi that he is fine and happily agrees to be mentioned on the birth certificate of Jojo.
Meanwhile, with Brianna, a tough decision about her surgery leaves Renee not agreeing for the same, but Valeria, Jill and Naomi insist to her that it was the only way to save their daughter’s life and that she should agree for the same without delay.
Meanwhile, the identity of the shooter finally gets revealed to be Jill’s former partner, who then admits to the shooting but not on Brianna but on Jill. He then tries to physically attack Jill, but the latter knocks him down, and eventually, the police and the rest of the girls come to her rescue.
