The Chinese anime series, Scissor Seven, isn’t a regular anime; it is a hilarious, genre-hopping hand-drawn anime that centers around a hairdresser, a quasi-assassin in disguise, who is stuck in a power struggle between two feudal groups. After the protagonist, Seven, confronts Redtooth in the second season’s finale, it seems that he is regressing into his older self. He then makes use of his skilled barber techniques and combines them with Xuanwu martial arts to fight against the Blood Demon, finally defeating him. However, this is not all for Seven, and he needs to wrap his head around various other matters of his previous life.
