The popular animated sitcom Solar Opposites on Hulu has successfully aired two installments in its franchise. This American sci-fi has been the creation of Mike McMahan and Justin Roiland, the ones who also created the famous Rick and Morty series. Producing the show is Sydney Ryan and J. Michael Mendel, while Helming the executive producer’s seat is Justin Roiland, along with Josh Bycel, Mike McMahan, and Anthony Chun.

Is Solar Opposites Season 3 On The Cards?
Season 2 of Solar Opposites released this year in March on Hulu with all its eight episodes together. Recently, on November 22, 2021, a special episode named A Very Solar Holiday Opposites Special got aired on the platform for its viewers.
For season 3 of this animated show, we already know that the good news was out way back in 2020 even before season 2 was in talks. The new season will contain a total of 12 episodes, unlike its predecessors that had eight episodes each. So now that we know season 3 is surely coming our way, let’s find out when will it air.

The fans of this sci-fi animation cannot be any happier to learn that the fourth season will also be made, as we saw Hulu giving its nod this year. In March this year, it was stated that season 3 was already halfway through its creation and was working on its animatics.
So if we go by the earlier release schedules of the previous two seasons, it can be safe to assume that Hulu could grace our screens with season 3 by mid of 2022, somewhere around spring.
What Will Solar Opposites Season 3 Be All About?
The second season’s end showed us the saddening fate of the Solar Opposites and how coming to Earth made them like its civilization. But this is just not it as they continue for their fulfillment. Despite guiding the local water polo team in Brazil and making them win the competition doesn’t give them fulfillment. But Terry could be seen getting one when he dies. Jesse and Korvo also die and get moksha and get reborn as trees.
In the upcoming season, it can be seen in a deeper knowledge about the connection of Pupa with Solar opposites which will for sure be accompanied by an amazing plot where the planet could be again seen running all in chaos. For the characters that are remaining, it will be the time they explore more of their existence through different galaxies. But whatever it would be, the fun will ensue for sure!

The upcoming season will likely see the role of Korvo being voiced by Justin Roiland once again.
