Believe me or not, being separated from a loved one has never been fruitful. The same goes for Divorce cases as well. Until and unless it’s required or the relationship has become toxic, Divorce never feels beneficial. And pretty much evident is the fact that Divorce is never pre-planned. Certain situations are backed by the ultimate predicament of Divorce. As we look into today’s scenarios, Divorce has been happening very frequently, which ultimately makes us think that it might prove to be peaceful or less problematic.

But one who hasn’t tasted Oranges always gets delighted by the appearance, but little does it know the sour reality of Oranges. To suffice everything about the feeling of Divorce in one sentence, it will be, divorce is the tragic reality, though, is so much more difficult and tricky; it’s an amalgamation of guilt, disappointment, relief, anger, and anxiety. Last Year the prominent artist Kacey Musgraves filed a Divorce suit to get separated from her former husband, Ruston Kelly.

Even after filing a divorce, she managed to release her new fresh Music Album named Star Crossed. Kacey Musgraves ‘ accompanying film is overstating and Magnifying the Music Album with its overarching theme into a sequence of surrealist, and transparent scenes are Kacey Musgraves’ accompanying film, which streamed on 10th September 2021 only on Paramount+. The Music Album mainly focuses on the mental well-being and cognitive situations after Divorce.

The Album sheds light on the life of Musgraves after her divorce was granted. Directed by Matthew Libatique and features talented cameos and are Eugene Levy, Victoria Pedretti, Princess Nokia, Drag Race star Symone, and comedian Megan Stalter. The album’s theme took its story and inspiration from Musgraves’ personal journey of agony, heartache, and healing following her divorce from her former husband who is an American singer-songwriter, Ruston Kelly.

What Influenced Kacey to Create this Music Album?

Kacey Musgraves in the Album Star Crossed

Kacey describes Star-Crossed as a “modern tragedy,” taking significant influence from Romeo and Juliet, the famous play by English playwright William Shakespeare, and illustrated Bill Withers, Daft Punk, Sade, Eagles, and Weezer as her musical sources for the album. Star-Crossed is a pop record incorporating rock, dance, folk, and psychedelic elements while conserving the country’s sensibility. It consists of mellow ballads, motivated by steady rhythms, analog synthesizers, layered harmonies, and looped drums.

The 48 minutes long Music Album consisting of 15 Songs is a treat to the ears and worth vouching for. Outstanding lyrics back the whole Music Album, and everything will remind you of your hard times and how to overcome them. The Music will surely make you feel connected with Kacey’s feelings about her Divorce, which is the sign of a tremendously executed Song and defines the success of the Music Album.

Our Final Call: Stream it or Skip it?

No doubt, the Music Album has some offensive language and is inclusive of Smoking and Drinking. Still, one good thing about the Music Album is there is no such Sexual or Explicit Content that makes it a viable option to see with your family and friends. Talking about the quality of the Songs and the overall Music Album, our final call would be you all should definitely STREAM IT. It’s worth watching, and no second thoughts on it.
