Strike the Blood’ is an anime action sci-fi franchise OVA series. Since 2013, the novel has 4 TV anime series and 4 OVA series. It is the second longest-running anime series by Gakuto Mikomi, while Manyaka does the artwork. The anime series is based on Strike The Blood’s novel, which was published in May 2011 and ended in 22 volumes. The last season was debuted from 8th April 2020 to 30th June 2021. The fifth OVA season would stream Volume 22 of the novel and be the final ending of the story. A trailer of the final season has already been out.
What is the Release Date and Production Status of Strike The Blood Final?
The major announcement of the final series of the light novel has officially been confirmed to be in filming on 30th June 2021. The fifth and final series of ‘Strike The Blood’ will be premiered soon as ‘Strike The Blood Final.’ Most probably, the release date of season 5 will be revealed by September 2021. A day before the premiere of the 4th season of the OVA series, a 90 second PV is uploaded by official Japan’s YouTube channel of Warner Brothers, as’ Strike the Blood Final’, which suggests that it would be the final OVA series.
The anime official Twitter account has also hinted that there would be a major announcement for the renewal. However, there is no update regarding the number of episodes, but the traversing of adaptation says that it might have 3 to 4 episodes. Strike the Blood Final will feature the main cast of the last series, and the same studio will also return for the production. Director Hideyo Yamamoto animated the last season on Studio Connect, which has become popular for the Strike The Blood series.
Hiroyuki Yoshino wrote the storyline. Jin Aketagawa overlooked the sound creation while Keiichi Sano will do the designs of anime characters. The update for the final series regarding the opening and the ending theme song has not been confirmed, and it might be composed at Assumed Sounds. KishidaKyoudan& the Akebosi Rockets may perform the opening song, whereas RisaTaneda will sing the theme song.
Premiere of Strike The Blood in English Dubbed
The first season has an English dubbed version licensed by Discotek for the premiere in North America. Right now, it might not be easy to comment on the availability of dubbed versions for the final season. As announced by Crunchyroll on August 2020 to screen the first three seasons of Strike The Blood, the first and second series has begun streaming in America, Canada, Ireland, the U.K., Scandinavian countries, Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, Central America, South Africa, and South America.
There is no announcement for the release for the fourth season in these countries, whereas the third season is going to be on stream soon.
What will be the Plot of the Final Season?
The novel revolves around a high school student at Demon District of Itogami Island, KojouAkatsuki, whose life comes to an unexpected finish when a decisive experience leaves him with extraordinary powers of an evil spirit. In the final series, to close the Keystone Gate, the Japanese Government commanded Itogami Island’s destruction. Yukina and Natsuki are directed at the bottom of the gate. However, they failed to finish the mission. There was a surprise attack by the mysterious creatures. Just then, Kojou appears, with some more adventures. Then the novel comes to an end.
The fans have to bear some more patience for the rest of the ‘Strike The Blood Final’ story to unfold. However, the release date might be announced by September 2021.
