Survivor is a reality television series featuring 18 contestants. The sole purpose of this show is to depict the concept of “Survival of the fittest”. Owing to the success of the show, they come up with subsequent seasons with new participants and new challenges.
The contestants are split up into three teams and are sent to three different nearby islands. They lose contact with the actual world. No phone calls, no family, no video calls, nothing. They will have to find their food, water, and shelter.
Apart from this, they do immunity and reward challenges to make their survival more exciting. The players are voted out by the respective tribes frequently and the show keeps moving forward. At the end of the season, one person gets the title of “sole survivor” and a grand cash prize.
What Happens In Survivor?
A typical survivor show runs for 39 days. The show features 18 participants, split up into three teams. They will have to figure out their shelter, food and water in their respective islands. At times, the teams compete against each other and as the show comes to an end, the participants individually play against each other for the title and cash price.
Reward Challenge
The teams come together often for a reward challenge. A game challenge will be put forward by the Survivor team. The three teams will have to compete against each other to win unexpected rewards at the end. Sometimes, the rewards will be revealed only at the end of the game. These rewards can either be food, an advantage for the immunity challenge, or even shelter necessities.
Immunity Challenge
Comparatively, the immunity challenge seems to be more important. The team that loses will have to eliminate a contestant from their team and they will have to quit the show. The winners of the challenge are safe from elimination.
Voting Out
The team that loses in the immunity challenge meets the host at the tribal council, discusses what went wrong, and votes out one contestant. This process continues till one person earns the sole survivor title.

In this episode, we can see Mike confronting Daniel, who switched his vote to Jenny. Mike seems to be agitated by his behavior. Daniel will have to face the consequences of voting out his friend. The remaining two tribes are also expected to have some heated arguments.
In the Taku tribe, Maryanne expresses her disappointment with Jonathan to Omar. However, Omar still seems to be on their side of Jonathan. On the Ika tribe’s island, there seems to be friction between Romeo and Rocksroy due to the latter’s commanding tone. As for the Vati tribe, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Daniel gets voted out the next time by the tribes.
Conclusion
The tribes are gradually understanding their teammates and forming alliances with the stronger contestants. But in the end, this is a sole survivor show. People will have to play strategically to win the title as well as their fellow contestants who later become the jury for the final episode.
