The Afterparty is a 2022 American TV series of murder, mystery, and comedy genres; Christopher Miller created and directed this series. It was premiered for the first time on January 28, 2022. This is one of those series that will keep you on the edge of your seats, and you just want to watch the next episode right after you have watched the newest episode because it will leave you curious and wondering about the next episode.
And in each episode, the genre changes because the story will be told from a different perspective, making the viewers’ experience afresh.
Recap of the Previous Episode
The 4th episode of the show begins with a quick search for Jennifer #2, who has not been seen by anyone for an awkwardly long duration of time. Danner then drags Chelsea in for interrogation, and she starts telling an excessive dramatic tale. And it comes to light that she blames Xavier for all the wrong choices she has made since high school, and it began after an incident at St. Patrick’s Day Party.
Danner pushes Chelsea to tell him about the secret incident during the party. She started telling about it and then describing how she wanted to take revenge for all the lost years of her life. We listened to how she planned to knock him out with cat tranquilizers and take intimate pictures of him later leaked to the press.
We also learn about her romantic affair with Brett, which she regrets from the bottom of her heart, and there is a mysterious person who keeps sending her death threats. She also tells how Aniq spiked the tranquilizers, but without the knowledge of Danner or Chelsea, Aniq was hiding in the adjoining room, eavesdropping on their conversation.
The Expected Plot
Since this series is different from other series, every character gets highlighted, and each episode is from the character’s perspective of the world. Since each character plays their role, new events happen in every episode. In the upcoming episode, we will see Lord and Miller will try to keep the show funny amidst all the mysteries.
And the 5th episode will throw light on the events of the High School, and because of the testimonials by Aniq, Brett, Yasper, and Chelsea, new facts will be available. Chelsea was the second suspect of the murder. At the same time, Aniq is still considered to be the first suspect of the murder because, during the investigation, everyone stated that he was last sighted with Xavier.
The upcoming episode will excite the viewer because they will be brought a step closer to the murderer. However, Apple TV has not made any announcement related to the plot so that they can maintain suspense.

The Plot of the Film
The show’s plot is about a high school reunion party that ended with a death. Detective Danner, a skilled detective, deals with the former high school students where every one of them was suspected to be the murderer of the pop star, Xavier, right after the party. The detective approaches everyone.
And everyone tells that Aniq was the possible suspect. Still, Aniq talks about his story in a romantic comedy manner, and everyone tells their version of the story leaving the detective more perplexed. Now it is up to Detective Danner to find the truth.
