Recap of The Blacklist S09 E04

That being said, he indicated to the team that he was against him but didn’t want to kill him. While the team tries to figure out what Angel’s next targets are, Red gets a drawing the Avenging Angel is showing their interest in.
Avenging Angel already has the targets where she wants them, which the team didn’t know. The group was brought to a hospital, and the plan was to take Derek’s heart, the 76th richest man in the United States, and give it to William, a worker in the neighborhood. Red arrives just as the Blacklister is about to attack, believing Derek has done his fair share, too.
Despite being a sinner, he has also done his fair share. This opinion is not shared by the Avenging Angel. As a result, Red shot Derek and saved him. As a result, William was saved by the Avenging Angel’s heart.
