Lastly, when we saw that the competitors were just stopped 10 minutes away from the headquarters and that too in a place where we know, it’s all Rocky, and we’ve seen that place all throughout the season. And we were well versed with the dangerous situations insight here. There would be surprises and dangers, which isn’t something new for us.
But all we could hope for was that this time it wouldn’t be so embarrassing, and the winners would get to know that they’ve made their way to it just by finding the diamond.
The Recap
So let’s take you back to the final. Last week, we saw TJ was sending warnings to the cells that were just formed that they had to try hard but not come to the last place as well. Now that’s demanding and excruciating at the same time. This was a clear sign to the audience that their favorite contestants would now be subjected to various different and difficult tasks that they weren’t exactly thinking about.
But as we saw the finals, the show’s intensity remained really low. And the moment this created does not require constant nail-biting scenarios.
The Performance of the Players
Here we saw that since the level was manageable and the contestants too made some mistakes here and there, you can say that the episode lacked struggle. We saw that Nelson injured himself by getting cramps. While he was swimming, he looked really composed and sorted regardless of that.
The remark given by CT that he could put up with tasks like these all day gave in a clear view that it wasn’t as tough as it should have been. Why else would they compare the events to the everyday chores that we endlessly do. In short, the show wasn’t the one we expected.
Keys for the Checkpoint
In the end, we see that everyone is eligible to open their safe and derive their keys from there, leading them to the next checkpoint. As of now, we can see that purple is still on the lead, and there’s no backing out now.
The Next Checkpoint
The next checkpoint would involve unlocking and detangling the chains which were holding up the torpedo. The next step would be to carry those torpedoes to the next stoppage. Here we see that team purple gets into trouble, and it’s very difficult for them to detangle everything now. And that’s the point for the ultimate turnover, and team orange picks up the hint that it’s their time to prove, and they take the lead from purple.
To be precise, they snatched it from purple. It was an outstanding performance! And they can stay in the lead till they reach the next stop. But here’s some serious brainstorming to be done here. But summing up everything, this episode is definitely a must-watch, so for those of you who haven’t watched it, we think it’s time that you get your hands on it soon!
