The upcoming episode, titled “The War,” will set up drama in the reality competition series in motion. The main question that lingers is if the veteran alliance has ended. So far, in this 37th season, the vets have been flawless in their game to achieve their goals, leading the rookie-rookie team to elimination and making it further to the final.
However, a single move can completely reverse the line of action. The last episode sees a major change, as Priscilla wins her elimination and chooses Josh, who was in a vet-vet pair. Hence, it implies that the show will have no rookie-rookie team any further. Jeremiah too wins because of his solid performance at the elimination with Priscilla, and he chooses Tori.
The two other teams that will be entering the upcoming episode are Tula and Nelson and Ashley and Ed. The previous episode also marked the exit of rookies Hughie Maughan and BernaCanbeldek. The preview at the ending of the eighth episode hints at the fallout from the power move of Priscilla Anyabu. And the vets already discuss their upcoming move against each other.
The preview shows that Priscilla’s move that caused the explosion of the vet alliance was victorious. The “next on” segment begins by indicating that vets are ready to be moving in opposition to each other. Devin Walker says that he wants a nonchampion vet to go ahead with winning the game. Hence, the main targets for the forthcoming episode can be CT Tamburello, Amber Borzotra, and Ashley Mitchell.
The episode synopsis also drops various hints that that veteran war will ensue. As the war arrives, it will be testing the loyalty of everyone. The ‘Bombshell Battle’ will reveal which of the candidate plays it too dirty. The synopsis also hints at a possible twist that will be changing the fate of the game. This battle seems to be like a muddy ball sort of mission that puts the veterans against each other.
You can watch the ninth episode of The Challenge: Spies, Lies, and Allies on October 6, at 8 pm EST, exclusively on MTV.
