What to Expect From the Latest Episode?
To have an idea of what to expect from the latest episode we have to look at the past episodes. In the last episode, we saw Sunny becoming the COO of Theranos. With that came a lot of funding. But it was evident that it will be no way be enough for them.
If Elizabeth doesn’t find another way of generating revenue her company will be in Jeopardy. Holmes set her eyes on Walgreens as they are one of the largest drug store chains in the Country. She was successful in wooing the Medical Director into approving her device to be sold at their locations.
However, the Financial Officer of Walgreens, Wade Miquelon is not convinced. But Rosan the medical director convinces him that this is the right choice. A device that can do several different types of blood tests from a single drop of blood is a revolutionary piece of technology that makes wade even consider a partnership.
To get things up to code they send Kevin Hunter to evaluate Theranos to get an FDA Approval. However, Gibbons is not happy with the plan as the plan means Elizabeth is willing to test the incomplete device on unsuspecting Americans just so she can get the funding.
Gibbons tries to inform the board about Elizabeth’s doing and got himself fired in the process. However, he did get rehired subsequently but in a different role. In the end, we see Theranos partnering up with Walgreens. In the latest episode, we still get to see the new set of challenges that comes with being associated with a company of that caliber. Will Theranos Survive this partnership? What all-new ways of deception Elizabeth will have to try to make her dream a reality? Find out in the latest episode.
