The fans can be happy and relieved that The Mandalorian season 3 has already started filming. While on the opposite hand, the sad news is that the exact release date is yet to be confirmed, but it is expected to be out by mid to late 2022.
Cast Returning for the Third Season
Very little has been revealed about the new season’s cast, but it can be surely assumed that Pedro Pascal will return for the main role. The series has seen several guest stars since its very first season. Still, Carl Weathers’ Greef Karga and Bill Burr’s former Imperial Mayfield, which have enjoyed multiple appearances and is popular amongst viewers, seems to have a possibility to return for the next season.
Still, we can’t be very sure of the same cast returning for the new season as the series makers are holding the information too tight in their chests.
Storyline
In the show, we can witness the journey of a sole gunfighter who lives within the fringes of the galaxy and far away from the authority of the New Republic. It is a story made before the beginning of the First Order and after the degradation of the empire. It is a story of the Star Wars universe and is made after the movies of Jango and BobaFett.
What is the Plot of The Mandalorian?
In season 2, Baby Yoda goes off for training with Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), who arrives to take him. An emotional farewell was given to him as no one knew what was coming for him in the coming years of his training. The Mandalorian season two’s finale gave the viewers some major hints on what might happen in season three after the tough breakup of the series’ central duo.
This means that Mando and Baby Yoda will be separated for some time in the third season as Baby Yoda will be out there for his training. But it is assumed and predicted that the duo wouldn’t be kept away from each other for much time. Also, it is expected that digital Luke Skywalker will have more screen space as he trains Baby Yoda.
In season 3, we would get a glimpse of Mandalore, which we didn’t witness in the last two seasons. There are also other reveals to be made in the third season. To find out, we have to wait for the release of the next season! Also, remember that Mark Hamill is out for some more adventures in a different galaxy far away.
