The Masked Singer is a music show which is based on the King of Mask Singer that Craig Plestis created. This season is being aired on Fox, and it is very different from the usual reality competition music shows because the performer will be under disguise, and they will be revealed if they have received the fewest votes. Recap of the Previous Episode

This episode of the masked singer was a rollercoaster full of thrill and suspense because it was the semi-final stage for Group-B. And, maybe for the first time in so many seasons of the show, there has never been a more precise costume on the latest episode of the show, where Willie Robertson, one of the entertainers who starred in the show “Duck Dynasty” dressed up as the Mallard.
This episode had some serious spoilers because, in the show, we saw Willie Robertson was unmasked as the Mallard, and Bobby Berk, the interior or star designer, was unmasked as the Caterpillar, which goes by the name “Queer Eye.” Willie Robertson sang “Fly” by Sugar Ray as his final song. Before that, he sang “Save a Horse” by Big & Rich, “My House” by Flo Rida, and “Play Something Country” by Brooks & Dunn.
None of the judges could guess who the was in the Mallard’s costume. Jenny Mc Carthy Wahlberg went with Jason Aldean. Ken Jeong believed it was Billy Ray Cyrus, Nicole Scherzinger assumed it was Dig the Bounty Hunter, while Robin Thicke presumed it was Alan Jackson. Cheryl Hines who was in the guest panel thought it was George Foreman.
After getting unmasked, Willie stated that he was hiding in plain sight, he also stated that the costume he was in was not a Mallard but a wooden duck, and he knew the difference, so he thought that it would be fun to give mixed hints to the judges. He also added that it was his mother-in-law who persuaded him first to be a part of the show as he has been singing for many in “Duck Dynasty,” and he did some voice lessons to get ready for the show, and he had a blast being a part of the show.
Bobby Berk was dressed in a caterpillar costume, and he performed “Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks, and before that, he sang “If I Were a Boy” by Beyonce, and finally “It’s Gonna Be Me” by *Nsync. During Bobby’s unmasking, none of the judges could guess who he was. Nicole Scherzinger wondered if it was Tyler Hubbard, Jenny McCarthy felt it was Owen Wilson, Kent Jeong presumed it was Dan Levy, Robin Thicke went with AJ Mc Lean, and the guest panel wondered if it was Jim Parsons.
After getting unmasked, Bobby Berk told how he felt about the show, and before going to the show, he thought all the work was pre-recorded because there is no chance that people can sing in such hectic costumes since they can not move comfortably. Their voice would get muffled because of the mask.
He stated that the Caterpillar was the biggest and heaviest costume in the history of the show, and while being in the attire, he felt as if he were buried alive, and he almost fainted in one of the episodes. Because it was so hot inside the attire, however, it was the cutest and most adorable costume ever; he loved how people compared him to a boy band.
During his music time, boy banders were looked up to as icons, and people loved them in the 1990s and early 2000s. Queen of Hearts and Banana Split were safe at the end of the episode, and they sang “Poker Face” by Lady Gaga, “ A Million Dreams” by Pink, “She’s Got You” by Patsy Cline, “La Vie En Rose” by Edith Piaf, and many more.
Plot Speculation
The 10th episode of the show is titled “Group-A Finale.” The forthcoming episode will be very interesting as we will see Bull and skunk, the winners of the semi-finals stage of Group-A going head to head for a spot in the finals. And in Group-B, we have Banana Split and the Queen of Hearts as the winners of the semi-finals stage of Group-B. The remaining singers have the mettle to sing well under pressure, and the judges have to put all the clues together to find who the singers are under the costume.
