“The Problem with Jon Stewart” is a very popular American late-night talk show series where the host, the famous comedian, satirist, and political commentator Jon Stewart who also co-produced this show, does an in-depth analysis of the current affairs, wrapped in humor and highlights all the social problems that are considered to be social evils.

Stewart’s production house Busboy Productions and Richard Plepler’s production house EDEN productions in partnership with Apple are producing this show. Brinda Adhikari, the executive producer, and showrunner, and James Dixon are the other renowned people who joined hands in this venture. The show is written by Chelsea Devantez and its theme music is composed by Gary Clark Jr. The next episode of this show will release soon.

How Does the Show Function?

In this show, The problem with Jon Stewart, Stewart does a thorough and in-depth discussion of problematic current affairs using some satiric elements and wittily scripted or instant words. In this show, Stewart takes interviews of celebrities, journalists, intellectuals, or important people from relevant fields within the stipulated show time of half an hour.

Apart from the television show, the production authority also runs a simultaneous podcast. It delves even further into the topic with grave attention and a more specific approach.

Where To Stream?

The problem with Jon Stewart is available only on Apple Tv Plus. One has to purchase the membership which costs almost $5/month  in order to watch the series. New members are facilitated with a seven-day free trial to three months free trials if they purchase any Apple gadget. And, the new episodes of the podcast series will release in RSS and Apple Podcasts.

Release Date And What to Know Before Watching

The 8th episode of The problem with Jon Stewart will release on the 24th of March. The 8th episode is going to deal with one of the gravest problems, called Racism. It will point out how white-skin supremacy is devouring the Western part of the World. And no matter how seriously some people want to educate the world and take steps against racism, it’s getting hard to keep the issue in control.

The show has made a bang on start with Stewart’s coming back to his sector of expertise; as his wit and his deft in political satire are globally well-known. Stewart addresses various issues in a debate-style format. After a series of replies and counter-replies from both sides, he proposes comparatively better solutions to the problem. People get to see new guests in each episode. Stewart delves deep into the topic talking and discussing with the sufferers and the ones surviving the repercussions.

This show discusses global issues and concerns that have a serious and direct impact on society and a single individual. For instance, the topic of the 3rd episode of this show was “Working Class economy” whereas “Stock Market” and “Climate change” were the themes of the 5th and 6th episodes respectively.  Apart from these, he also presented issues like “Gun-control”, “Media”, and “Covid-19 restrictions” on his show and brought thorough research to the public’s table.
