Disney is getting more and more accurate with its representation of various communities and The Proud Family is no exception. The show was always known for its fun and quirky problem-solving ways. Sixteen years later things only change for the best.

The half an hour episode show acts as a guide but in a friend-like manner telling you that you’re not the only one causing mishaps and doubting yourself. It’s everyone. The story immediately heads into the 2022 timezone talking about recent issues.

Our call is to STREAM IT! The show has come back better and stronger. Unlike other shows is not afraid of showing the truth.

What do our Critics have to say?

The show is extremely good with its representation and not just of the African American community which forms the center of the show but also other communities like the Muslim community, the Chinese community, and many more.

The show never shies away from talking about sensitive topics of concern like bullying, racism, sexism. Penny’s brief influencer stint as she gets way too popular for her handling shows the recent generation’s obsession with social media and the temporary nature of fame in modern times.

Naturally, none of these would have landed well if the show didn’t have a good writing team. The show has writers who are very efficient at portraying the burning issues of the world. All these along with good music make The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder a very riveting watch.

Where can I watch it?

The show was released on the 23rd of February. Forever a Disney Channel original, the reboot version is now available for streaming on Disney+ at a minimum subscription rate. Disney + is available for streaming on AppleTV, Google Chromecast, Amazon FireTV. It is also available on iPhone and iPad, Android Phone or Tablet.
