Not much wait is left to see this crime drama on our screens. Trigger Point is Vicky McClure’s newest crime drama. It now has an official release date. The Line of Duty star will be back on our screens. Trigger Point is a thriller that is coming to ITV, and we’ll see Vicky McClure in a different police unit this time.
HTM Televisions is producing it, and the series turns the focus on the dangerous world of bomb disposals and counter-terror operations in London. But, ofcourse, when a series is produced by Jed Mercurio (also the writer and creator of Line of Duty and Bodyguard), we know that it will be too good.

Trigger Point will be released on ITV on January 23, 2022, i.e., Sunday at 9:00 p.m. In the series, McClure will be seen in the role of an ex-military official Lana Washington, who used to work as a bomb disposal operative. She is seen together with Adrian Lester, who plays the role of Joel Nutkins, her colleague. Jed Mercurio is producing this series.
Number of Episodes in Trigger Point
The number of episodes in this crime drama is six. They will surely be very tense episodes. We’ll see Lana on the verge of crisis. Her latest mission, a counter-terrorism mission, might not turn out to be very good for her.
Many similarities can be noted between Line of Duty (BBC’s successful series) and Trigger Point. However, Mercurio, producer of Triggering Point, said in a conversation with RadioTimes.com that these two will be very different from each other.
