The American thriller drama Truth Be Told is inspired from the work of author Kathleen Barber by the name Are You Sleeping. The series was created and penned by Nichelle Tramble Spellman, Reese Witherspoon, Octavia Spencer, Peter Chernin, Kristen Campo, Lauren Neustadter, and Jenno Topping, serves as the executive producer for the show, and Apple TV+ produces it.
Season 1 of the show was telecasted on 6th December 2019 with a total of 8 episodes, while season 2 premiered on 20th of August 2021, having 13 episodes altogether. The production companies involved with the show are Hello Sunshine, Chernin Entertainment, Orit Entertainment, and Endeavor Content.

Recap of Episode 5 of Truth Be Told Season 2
The episode shows that Poppy has been the victim of an assault at Micah’s place, which lands her in the hospital. Her suspicion is on Holt Rollins, for whom Micah works. The cop also comes to the same conclusion and informs Poppy about the house Micah bought for Holt Rollins, this indicating their connection. This makes Poppy search for answers all the more.
The flashback shows the friendship between Poppy and Micah when they were young. They happened to be very close friends. So much so that certain things of Poppy’s life are only known to Micah, thus showing their deep bond. Towards the end of the episode, Poppy and Micah are in front of each other, both in a heated discussion and cussing to cause each other loss.
What can be Expected in Episode 6 of Truth Be Told Season 2?
Titled All These Women, episode 6 will showcase other female victims that have been assaulted by Holt Rollins and could step ahead to aid Poppy in her investigation. The earlier episode showed a face-off between Poppy and her childhood pal Micah. This makes Poppy disclose her suspicion for Micah in her podcast. This could change the outlook of Micah, who earlier was a victim who faced the loss of her husband through murder but now comes under the officials’ radar and becomes a potential suspect for murders that have taken place- Ramon, Joshua, and his son.
With all the suspicion on Micah, Markus ( who happens to be Poppy’s friend and Micah’s officer) will face a confusing situation. Episode 6 will also tell the viewers more about the unexplained connection between Micah and Hold Rollins and will throw some light on the dark character of the latter.
