Vigil is a British television crime miniseries. Tom Edge is the creator, and Angie Daniell is the producer of the series. The producing company of the series is World Production. This miniseries shooting took place in Scotland and on a frictional submarine. The story of this miniseries will follow an investigation carried on by a Detective Chief Inspector “Amy Silva.” She will go in a submarine to investigate a death. The death will take place after a fishing trawler went missing strangely.

Some viewers said that the story is old-fashioned but solid. The series is said to be full of crime, thriller, mystery, and drama. The story so far has created a lot of suspense in the viewer’s mind. This series should be watched as it is very different from other miniseries.

VIGIL was announced to be released by BBC One. Episode 1 of this series was released on August 29, 2021, and 2 on August 30, since then all its episodes are released by BBC One every Sunday.
