Recap Of Wentworth Season 9 Episode 8
Episode 8 aired on October 12, 2021, and was titled The Abyss. This episode was directed by Beck Cole and. It starts with Rita, Allie, and Ruby discussing the murder of a defense secretary. Will was seen making a deal with Ferguson. On the other hand, Lou asks Rita not to interfere in her plans. Ruby and Rita are held responsible for the murder of a cop despite handling over the proof of their innocence.
Vera is angry with Ferguson. Things get so much out of hand that she decides to poison Ferguson and then kill herself. Somehow, Jake enters and stops her. Ferguson also decides to kill her but doesn’t act on his plan.
Lou finds all the phone recordings set up by Marie. She hears every single one of them. She later confronts Rita and comes to know that she is an undercover cop. Boomer and Ruby contradict Rita’s story and tell everyone that she is no cop. At the end of the show, Rita is seen getting attacked by a prisoner.
