A Little About the Plot
This series essentially revolves around the life of an affluent young school teacher turned author Elizabeth Thatcher. She migrates from a big city to a remote rural area which is basically a coal mining town in the western part of Canada as a part of her first classroom assignment.
There she faces a lot of ups and downs and faces a hell of a lot of challenges during her stay. The coal mine got closed after an explosion and many miners died. In the initial episode of the second season, the town of Coal Valley was renamed Hope Valley.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth faces a lot of personal as well as professional issues while working there and she keeps swimming in the stream of life and finally gets her book published which becomes a center of attraction.
