‘Dead to me is a dark comedy series. Being one of the most-watched series, it has a different fan base, which was quite evident after its first season. We owe the credit to the awesome chemistry between two lovely ladies, who have taken the ratings high. Jen, a rather sarcastic widow, mourns her husband, Ted, who passed away in an accident. Unable to bear the grief, she joins a support group, where she comes across Judy, a cheerful young lady who has suffered a sudden loss.
Poles apart, yet their friendship takes a powerful form. As time passed, over the wine bottles spilled the tiny secrets they held close to themselves. But Judy engaged in the enormous task of keeping a secret that could destroy Jen if revealed. Thus, it’s a mixture of awkwardly funny moments, grief, loss, and ultimately Forgiveness.

Twists not only planned in the reel life, but the real-life global pandemic also chooses to add a twist of its own. Moreover, here we are with the incomplete tasks and new dates. As the previous ones subjected to change. We’re now expecting the month of May to be the lucky one for this cause as it was for the other seasons too. However, this might be the last season.
A Quick Recap of Season 1 and Season 2
Season one gave an ultimate shock as we discovered that Judy was in the driver’s seat of the car that killed Jen’s husband, Ted. Probably one of the reasons why she wanted to get close to Jen. But the truth did tear her apart, and she was extremely disappointed. However, Jen’s relationship with Ted is not going well, as she has discover about his affair and is satisfy with staying away from him. But didn’t want him to leave this way. It was a loss she couldn’t bear. The first season ended on a cliffhanger, when Steve, Judy’s ex, murdered.
The introduction of new characters should be embraced by now, as we’re soon introduced to Ben wood, Steve’s identical twin brother. Season 2 also introduces Michelle, Judy’s Ladylove. Their love story shows a sudden change in Judy’s sexual preferences as she chooses a woman. Michelle questions the relationship between Jen and Judy as they stay together. Judy’s relationship with Steve might have set the viewers to think that she’s a straight woman, but the series portrays twists with such ease!
Well, that’s progressive and might be dropping subtle hints for the viewers to change their perspective too and adapt to the changes around them.
What to Expect from ‘Dead To Me’ Season 3?
This might be the last season, but it’s taking longer than we thought, and it wouldn’t be the same if we didn’t get to see the ladies. We started the series with them, and there’s no good way to end it, too so, we’re expecting Jen and Judy back in their roles, as the last season showed both the ladies being hit by Ben Wood’s car. Judy is still in better condition than Jen, who sat on the side as Ben drove into the mishap. We’re expecting this trio to pick up from where they left it all.
But misfortunes are like the guardian angels of the two, and it has endlessly followed them around. Steve’s body would have to be attended to, as it won’t stay hidden for long as we know that it was dug up in the forest by a dog. Introduction of new characters are expected here, and detective Nick Prager will be seen, as he was quite close to solving the case. With no trailers out yet, we might be shooting arrows in the dark, but we’re open to surprises by now.
