By several journals, this show was labeled as a “sexual consent drama.” The show revolves around a specific happening on a night. The protagonist is a young, energetic girl with a free soul named Arabella, and the protagonist is a black woman who just rode out for one night to get some fresh air.
However, when she returns home with a broken smartphone, a scratch on her forehead, and a horrible memory of a man who keeps forcing himself on her in a washroom. Followed by this memory, the whole series is all about how she deals with that happening, about the systemic discrimination and the hookup culture, and processing all terrible things about the night.

You will notice Arabella will return to her home after a tiring trip to London from Italy. She is an emerging writer who gained fame and respect with her initial book named ‘Chronicles of a Fed-Up Millennial,’ and her life is happening; tweets are flowing into her feed. The journey to London was presumed to fuel the paper of her writings for her second book. However, the trip ended her meeting with her bf. She got an interesting social life.
To make up for the deadline, she struggles to end up her book by smoking some joints and drinking caffeine. With all this busy schedule, she managed to hang out with her friends and promised to stay sober. After completing the book, she was in her agent’s office, who called her manuscript is “wired.” And this episode ends with suddenly a man raping her when she goes outside to get fresh air.
