Loyal fans of the show- Mo Dao Zu Shi have been eagerly waiting for the release of its third season. The show’s title, which is based on a series of Mandarin novels written by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, is translated as The Master of Demon Cultivation. The show premiered in July 2018, followed by its second season in August 2019. Finally, this year, an announcement for the third season was made, followed by its official trailer, which came on YouTube on January 22, 2021. All three seasons are produced by Tencent Penguin Pictures and BC May Pictures.

Where to Watch?
Season 3 of the show will be broadcasted on various TV channels and available to stream on many websites. As of now, it is not available to stream on popular streaming sites like Netflix, Hulu or Amazon Prime. No official word has been heard regarding the release of its third season. Production for the same began in late 2020, so for a safe guess, we can expect it to come by Autumn 2021.
Mo Dao Zu Shi is unique, which shows two stories woven at the same time. The first story displays the death of Wei Ying, and the second shows his birth. We have the trailer with us for the third season, but sadly, the release date hasn’t been confirmed yet. Till then, don’t forget to check out the trailer for its third season on YouTube. Mo Dao Zu Shi has gathered huge popularity on Tumblr and many other platforms, which indicates that the fans have liked it a lot. You’re going to enjoy the visuals of the show, and the characters are especially attractive. The story grows more intense as it goes forward. Chinese anime are breaking the internet by storm these days. Like Korean web series have gathered a large fan base, we expect to see donghua and manhua shortly.
Next Season Updates?
It would be too early to talk about the fourth season of the show as till now, not even the release date of the third season has been confirmed. But we’d like to watch even the fourth season of the show as if we’re not captivated enough by the storyline yet. The renewal of any show depends on its viewership and ratings. If the show stands well on both these criteria, then it gets renewed. It is very rare for a series that is good not to be getting renewed. Let’s hope that the first two seasons did exceptionally well, and the same thing goes with the third season, as we don’t want to see such good anime end this soon.
