Star Trek: Discovery returns for its fans with Season four. The science-fiction show has finally come back after the months-long buzz of its upcoming new season. With actors Sonequa Martin-Green, Doug Jones, and Anthony Rapp in the lead, the sci-fi drama revolves around character Michael Burnham’s journey to the captaincy of U.S.S. Discovery. Now the fans await the fourth chapter of the series, wishing to see how things fold out after the fall of the Emerald Chain. Grabbing your screens with its mouth-opening plot twists, Star Trek Discovery is giving its fans a big question of where it will be streamed. Read on to get answers to all your questions on Star Trek Discovery Season 4.
Can We Find Star Trek: Discovery Season Four on Netflix or Amazon Prime?
Sadly, no. Amazon Prime does not offer Star Trek: Discovery season 4. Netflix users, too, will be able to see only Star Trek: The Next Gen and Star Trek: Deep Space 9, but Star Trek: Discovery is not yet available on Netflix. This does not apply to only US users but to all Netflix subscribers in general. Star Trek: Discovery no longer remains on Netflix international now. This comes quite shockingly to the fans as Netflix was the home streamer for Star Trek since the show began.
This is because sometime back, Viacom CBS and Netflix ended their financial contract for Discovery’s joint-launch dated for 2017. Netflix had been paying for the majority of the show’s budget in order to get overseas rights. As a result, unfortunately, if you live internationally, you’re going to have to wait a while to see what happens with the crew.
So where do We get to Watch Star Trek: Discovery Season 4?
The show can now be watched on Paramount+ for US watchers. The first episode of season four streamed on November 18, 2021, on the ViacomCBS streamer for the United States. Paramount plus also offers a free 7-day trial for non-subscribers. So even if you haven’t purchased their service, you can watch Star Trek Season 4 during your trial period.
When and Where to Look for Star Trek: Discovery Season for Non-US Watchers?
Since Paramount+ is currently available in the US only, Star Trek fans from Europe will have to wait until Paramount plus launches there. However, Europe, the UK, Germany, Ireland, Austria, and Switzerland will probably be the first ones to get the Paramount plus launch, albeit no fixed launch date is yet announced.
Once these five countries get the service, Paramount plus will then move forward to 45 more countries targeted for 2022. So if you’re not from the States, you will have to wait until Paramount plus is established for the country.
