The answer: No. Coop didn’t die. The truth wasn’t revealed instantly rather we had to wait for it. It was arguably seen that Spencer and Patience didn’t have grief about the situation.
Coop didn’t die but had severe surgery and fell into a coma for a few days. After she woke up, Patience was angry again for not believing in her. Coop also revealed to the police that she killed Mo by shooting her.

Coop was returning the favor to Preach for saving her life. Preach shot Mo to save Coop and in return, she took the blame on herself.
