Singing competitions, telecasted on TV is something that most of us love to watch. To see the emerging talents and also some extraordinary people who are really amazing! But there are so many singing competitions that are available on TV, how are we going to choose what to watch?
We get attracted to the singing shows that have some innovation added to them. Some have dancing combined with singing, some have a comedy skit. Well, there is a singing show which involves the participants wearing a costume to cover their identity, that’s cool right!
There are also challenges in this type of competition, the costume should also have a head mask, the mask can be heavy, it can be suffocative, this can affect the singing of the participants, which adds to the climax of the show.
Who Got Eliminated: Season 7, Episode 3?
The season 7, episode 3 was filled with surprises for the contestants as well as for the audiences. Are you wondering why? That’s because two contestants were eliminated! Yes, you read that right, among all the seasons of “Masked Singer”, it is the first time that two contests are being eliminated.
The episode Kickstarter with team Cuddly’s Thingamabob, Thingamabob sang Bon Jovi’s Wanted Dead or Alive, then came Cyclops from team Bad, Cyclops performance was on flash dance(What a feeling) by Irene Cara. The final contestant was Team Good’s Firefly, who sang Attention by Charlie Puth.
Before the final results were announced the judges gave all the three contestants to give one last performance on I Got You ( I Feel Good) by James Brown. There was voting round by the audience and the judges. Cyclops was asked to unmask first, as he unmasked he revealed lost Alum Actor Jorge Garcia. As the singer Thingamabobs unmasked himself revealing Jordan Mailata a Philadelphia Eagles player.
About Season 7
“The Masked Singer” completed six seasons successfully and they stepped into the 7th season with 15 contestants participating. Well that’s not all they are further divided into three teams named the Good, Bad and Cuddly. This division is not about the singing of the contestants, it is the theme of the costume for the season.
THE GOOD COSTUMES : Ringmaster, Armadillo, McTerrier, Firefly, Frog Prince. THE BAD COSTUMES : Hydra, Ram, Jack in the box, Cyclops, Queen Cobra. THE CUDDLY COSTUMES: Baby Mammoth, Thingamabob, Lemur, Space Bunny, Miss Teddy.
The Season 7 contestants are people with great talent, having 15 Grammy Nominations, Two Hollywood Walk of Fame Stars, Two world records, 7 super bowl performances. This shows that the competition between these contestants are tough to judge, as all the contestants are equally strong in their field of talent!
