Throughout his career, he trained many horses that went to win the World Champion Stallion title by National Cutting Horse Association. The 93 years old veteran has been awarded many prizes throughout his journey and even has been admitted to the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame, NCHA Riders Hall of Fame and NCHA Hall of Fame. He now lives in Roscoe, Texas, on a ranch and his presence in the show help in the depiction of Four Sixes Ranch living up to its status.
