Are you missing your stalker? Don’t worry, and he is on his way. ‘You’ Season three release date is expected to be announced by September 2021. In April, Netflix confirmed the production wrap for You Season 3. “Don’t worry, we have eyes on Joe at all times. Happy S3 wrap” posted Netflix on Instagram. You is an American psychological dark thriller television series based on the novel of Caroline Kepnes. This show is about a bookstore manager Joe Goldberg and his lovesick obsessions. When Joe gets attracted to women, he stalks them, following their daily lives.

Blind by his obsession, he can go to any lengths to have what he wants. After a tragic last romance to start a new life perhaps, a new obsession with a new identity, he moves to Los Angeles from New York where he meets Love, a young woman. Joe and his ways of dealing with relationships is a thriller romance audience can’t take their eyes off. ‘You’ premiered on September 9, 2018, at Lifetime in the United States.

The show streamed globally on Netflix on December 26, 2018. Based on the follow-up novel Hidden Bodies, Netflix released You Season Two as the Netflix original on December 26, 2019. The show was renewed for season three in January 2020. The release date is expected to be announced by September 2021.

Expected Cast and Characters

You Season 3

The show’s lead actor, Penn Badgley, will continue in season three along with his female co-star from last season, Victoria Pedretti, who played the role of Love Quinn, his new romance. According to the officials, Saffron Burrows, who performed as the mother of Love last season, will have a more significant part in season three. In addition, Michelle McManus from The Vampire Diaries series will play a significant role in this season.

Tati Gabrielle is also expected to be seen in the show. In an interview at Cosmopolitan, the previous cast member Ortega expressed her desire to work again in the show. Additionally, Scott Michael Foster has confirmed her involvement in the show. Some new characters are also expected to be seen on the screens this season.

Expected Plot

Fans have been holding their breath after the show creator Sera Gamble commented, “f***ing bonkers and the performances are insanely good”, on You Season Three. Season two ended with a drastic climax where Joe meets his match in Love, who also killed the other characters in the show. You Season Three will be based on the follow-up novel of Caroline Kepnes ‘You Love Me’ where the murderous couple of Joe and Love will be starting a family.

In an interview at Entertainment Weekly, Patrick Gamble, the showrunner, stated how the team wrote the ending of season two, giving space for various possibilities and speculations in season three. So now audiences are expecting You Season Two to bring a lot of murders and thrills.
