Green Green (GurnGurn) is a 12-episode animated version of the same-named H-game from Japan. Even though the first 12 episodes have no graphic sexual moments, the series places a major emphasis on nakedness. A quasi follow-up to the narrative was produced as a thirteenth episode at a future stage. This ‘Episode 13’ is unauthorized and not available in the United States.
Green was licensed for publication in North America by Media Blasters, and the first volume was published on May 16, 2006. The 12 TV series have now been published on three DVDs, initially individually throughout 2006, and then in 2 distinct budget sets in 2007 (the original single volumes in a box) and 2009. (the three discs in one “Litebox” case). In January 2016, the program was launched on the Toku network in the United States.

Green Green is set in the Japanese hills at Kanenone Gakuen, an exclusive all-boys boarding school (translated literally in English as “Sound of the Bell Academy”). The institution is marketed as the “last surviving utopia for guys on Planet” since there are no women for kilometers. However, to become a co-ed education system, the Kanenone school administration has begun discussions with an all-girls boarding school.
Kanenone’s hormone-driven, girl-deprived masculine physique is ecstatic. Both institutions agreed to have a type of trial run by allowing the girls from the all-girls institution to stay at Kanenone for a month to observe how well the children get along. The main character, Yuusuke Takasaki, has his eyes easy with his “perverted” housemates, the Baka (“Idiot”) Trio.
The Baka Trio – Bacchi-G, an obese brazen glutton, Ichiban-Boshi, a self-proclaimed ladies man, and Tenjin, a goofball with a “little sister” obsession – are ecstatic that chicks will be present at their school.
When the females’ buses come, one girl called Midori Chitose is the first to depart, rushing at and joyously embracing a befuddled Yuusuke. What is Midori’s relationship with Yuusuke, and how did she meet him? The Baka Trio’s pranks and the solution to this question are the program’s subjects.
Characters

Takasaki, Yuusuke
Yuusuke, the primary male protagonist, is possibly the closest “normal” of the Kanenone brothers. He is pals with the Baka Trio, although he isn’t interested in their more wicked pursuits. Despite this, Yuusuke is considered a participant of the Baka Trio, and he is frequently pushed or pulled into participating in their fewer antics.
Ijuuin Tadatomo
Tadatomo, the Baka Trio’s obese, long-haired commander and most depraved guy, has no dignity. The presence of gorgeous females in Kanenone seemed to have thrown him off balance. He does stuff like sip the bathwater the females just got out of, and he makes a breast print of his nipples so he may pretend they belonged to a female.
Hikaru Ichiban-Boshi
Ichiban-Boshi, who is interpreted as “number one sparkling star,” considers himself to be a charming women guy.
Tenjin Taizo
Tenjin is the Baka Trio’s big softie. He has a strange obsession. He fantasizes about Sanae thinking of him as an older brother and that she would lie adjacent to him as he smells her and consumes rice (a joke referring to the word okazu, which means both “meal” and “porn”).
Midori Chitose
Midori, the major feminine character, is an active and happy girl who appears to know and adore Yuusuke. She appears eager to go to any length for him, including completing out a questionnaire with perverse inquiries sent to her by the Baka Trio to please Yuusuke.
