  • Rotten Tomatoes ratings: NA
  • Platforms available: Netflix

As will be the case for many others, “Your Lie In April” is an anime series that holds a special place in my heart. Despite being a pure romcom anime series, this one touches home with its slice-of-life theme. Even though some of you might not be ready for the series’ conclusion, it is still worth the risk. You won’t have encountered anything like it before. Additionally, every April will hit you before you arrive after this series!

The protagonist of “Your Lie In April” is “Arima Kousei,” a skilled pianist who has excelled in competitions ever since she was a young child. But the way his mother handled him as a child has made his life difficult. So, to avoid unpleasant flashbacks, he stays away from the piano. But one day, Arima sees a young woman playing the harmonica, and he is drawn to the situation.

  • Rotten Tomatoes ratings: 94%
  • Platform available: Netflix, Hulu and Crunchyroll

This one is fantastic! The program is hilarious, the premise is unique, the characters are unforgettable, and we feel for them in ways you would still not anticipate considering their arrogance and excessively obtuse nature. Usually, we detest obstinate and arrogant couples, but this program makes us root for them even more.

45. Blue Spring Ride
Blue Spring Ride

  • Writer: Io Sakisaka, Tomoko Yoshida
  • Cast: Tsubasa Honda, Masahiro Higashide, Natsuki Deguchi, Kaito Sakurai

One of the best romance television programs of the 2010s is “Blue Spring Ride.” It centers on a girl who attempts to impress the boy she loves but encounters changes, such as starting to date someone else. But the series is fulfilling in the end. After season 1, you should read the manga because a second season of the anime is unlikely.

“Blue Spring Ride” tells the tale of Futaba Yoshioka, a high school student who wants to make new acquaintances and shed her reputation as a cute but superficial girl. She meets up with Kou Mabuchi, who she had a crush on in middle school but who has since grown cold and aloof.

44. Horimiya

  • Cast: Haruka Tomatsu, Kouki Uchiyama, Seiichirou Yamashita, Yurie Kozakai
  • IMDb ratings: 8.1
  • Rotten Tomatoes ratings: NA
  • Platforms available: Hulu, Funimation

When it was first broadcast, “Horimiya” swept the internet and for good cause. In the anime, a romance develops between two individuals who have various characteristics at home and at school. It’s a novel idea that has been favorably accepted. A sequel is being created to make up for some of the manga’s missing chapters, even if Season 1 hurried through it.

The story of Miyamura, a high school student, and Hori, a high school student, who both have hidden sides, is told in “Horimiya”. They become closer and start dating when they decide to keep their true identities from one another. But will they be able to maintain this unforeseen relationship?

  • IMDb ratings: 7.7
  • Rotten Tomatoes ratings: NA
  • Platforms available: Crunchyroll, Funimation

A standout among harem anime, “The Quintessential Quintuplets” is a top-notch rom-com. One gentleman and five sisters are the subject of this captivating love story, which has led to strong competition among fans to pick their favorite woman. The series even provides each female with a happy ending in a game, and the humor is wonderful and fits in perfectly with the entire idea!

The narrative of “Uesugi,” a brilliant but impoverished youngster, is followed in “The Quintessential Quintuplets.” He makes an enemy one day when he picks a fight in the cafeteria with a girl named “Itsuki”. But soon after, he is forced to accept a job offer as a private tutor due to family obligations.

The only issue is that he is forced to instruct Itsuki, one of his adversaries, and her other four quintuplets. He must force them to graduate despite the fact that they are all terrible students. Will he be able to help these girls, who aren’t the brightest in the classroom, study and succeed?

Without a doubt, “TONIKAWA” is one of the cutest rom-com anime series now available to otakus. The remarkable newcomer Akari Kitou, known for voicing roles ranging from babies to grandmas, provides Tsukasa, the female lead, with her voice. The TONIKAWA duo is cuter than ever as of the second season, which is currently running in Spring 2023.

The film “TONIKAWA” tells the tale of “Nasa,” a young child of exceptional intelligence who is once spared from being hit by a truck by the lovely Tsukasa. He pursues Tsukasa despite the fact that his head is still bleeding, confessing his love at first sight.

Despite being a little older, the romcom anime “Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki” is incredibly underappreciated. It contains a traditional rom-com narrative, but the female lead has a distinctive personality quirk that really makes the whole thing interesting.

The story follows Fumiya Tomozaki, a high school student who is considered a “bottom-tier character” in real life, but excels at the video game “Tackfam”. Tomozaki is a shy and pessimistic teen who struggles to make friends.

One of the most beautiful and best anime shows you’ll ever see Ouran High School host. The first episode left a strong effect on me. The first episode wasn’t long, but it got right to their narrative point. It all started when Haruhi realized she was a female.

Even though the rom-com anime Ouran High School host’s narrative was initially relatively thin, it simply demonstrated how the members amused their visitors. However, as you progress through the series, you’ll see that there’s more to the plot than the characters’ happy looks.

There is no romantic drama, bloodshed, or something insane like that in this friendship/rom-com anime. It’s all about creating friends, keeping them, and dealing with troubles with them till the end.
