Inspired from the novel Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles by Yuri Kitayama, the Japanese anime show Spirit Chronicles has been the directorial project of Osamu Yamasaki. Joining him as the co-writers of the show are Megumu Sasano, Yoshiko Nakamura, and Mitsutaka Hirota.
The show that premiered this year on 6th July has concluded with its last episode being aired on 21st September 2021 and has been made by TMS Entertainment. The viewers were able to enjoy the show on streaming platforms like TV Tokyo, AT-X, and BS Fuji. Subtitles were also available for international fans to enjoy on Crunchyroll.
The 12 episodes long series revolved around a boy named Haruto Amakawa, who, after being dead in an accident, woke up as a boy named Rio with magical powers in an unknown world. But his intention to seek revenge from the murderers of his mother is still present in him, and he is relieved to know so. One day after saving the abducted princess of Bertram Kingdom, he gets the opportunity to study at Bertram Royal Academy. The journey follows his struggle amidst the high-class individuals.

When Can Season 2 Of Spirit Chronicles Be Out?
Although the first season of Spirit Chronicles did not impress the fans much, the full suspense ending during its finale can pave the way for the making of season 2. Due to the same storyline as other Isekai shows, the viewers weren’t hooked to the show for that long, but answering the questions left unattended in season 1 can make the subsequent season possible.

As the protagonist recognizes his friend from his childhood ( when he was Haruto ) in the realm he is residing now; the story might take the viewers to the backstory of Haruto. The reason for his great strength after he changed into Rio can also be explained.
Since the novel series is scheduled to publish more volumes this year, the content for the upcoming season can be easily deduced, thus making its occurrence more likely to happen.
But till the official news for the renewal of the show is out, viewers can just guess the plot line and airing schedule of the same.
