Melissa Ann McCarthy is a Fashion designer, writer, comedian, also an American actress. She was born on 26th August in 1970 in Plainfield, Illinois, to Sandra and Michael McCarthy. She had been nominated for two ‘Primetime Emmy Awards’ and two ‘Academy Awards,’ Time named ‘McCarthy’ under one of the 100 topmost influential people in the world in 2016.

She has also been under the category of the highest-paid actress in the world. She appeared in television and films in the 1990s, secured a vantage point for her role in the tv-series called ‘Gilmore Girls’ (2000-2007) for the character she played of ‘Sookie St. James.’ She played ‘Dena’ on ‘Samantha Who?’ (2007-2009) and ‘Molly Flynn’ on ‘Mike and Molly’ for which she hooked up the ‘Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series’ in 2011. In 2009, in Rita Rocks, she played Mindy Boone in an appearance. In 2011, she was in the movies in minor roles, like in ‘The Backup Plan’ and ‘Life As We Know It’ with the lead actress ‘Katherine Heigl.’

Bridesmaids got McCarthy an Oscar nomination as best supporting actress in a comic role. Her character is weird, improv, and talkative. The movie has great reviews.

She keeps a touch via her Headset with a cool field agent Jude Law (Bradley Fine), whom she has a crush on. Ultimately, disaster strikes, and she has to be there on the motorbikes with the guns. Susan’s character is a very relatable, sympathetic figure. Her jokes in the movie are funny and sassy. Jason Statham together made the audience laugh a lot.
