The Christmas Card (2006) is the story of the pure love between a military man and a girl who writes Christmas cards to lonely soldiers. The plot is very different from the regular cheesy Christmas flicks. The plot, casting, cinematography, and direction have done a great job, especially the director of photography of the movie. The frames and scenery of the film is the best part that highlights very much in the movie that produces a great Christmas vibe.

It is even more exalted with the accompanying background music that steals our hearts. What is the Plot Behind The Christmas Card (2006)?

The hero of the movie is US Army Sergeant Cody Cullen who is serviced in Afghanistan along with his best buddy Jonesy. But his tour gets terrible when Jonesy gets killed in an attack in Nurestan. He was a man who was engaged to his fiancée in his place and Cody takes up a move where he returns Jonesy’s private possessions to his fiancée.

In Nevada City, Cody meets Faith Spelman, who writes Christmas cards for soldiers, including him. The plot later shows Cody being comfortable in the family of the Spelman’s. Complications arise when Cody falls in love with Faith who was already engaged to her boyfriend. The rest of the plot shows how both of their deal with each other and how it ends in the beautiful Christmas.
