Despite not having a lot of commercial success, this movie is a cult classic and one of the best horse movies of all time. The movie was also the debut of director Caroline Thompson.

This DreamWorks production is not only one of the best horse movies but one of the best-animated movies ever made. It was nominated for Academy awards in the category of Best Animated Feature Film.
